Bobby Vosmaer - President, Director of Coaching

Bobby started his professional career with a group of players that led the Dutch National Team to two consecutive second place finishes at the 1974 and 1978 World Cup tournaments. Having played with or against such greats as Johan Cruyff, Franz Beckenbauer, George Best and Carlos Alberto, Vosmaer established himself as a starting player all of his life. After an MVP rookie season in the Dutch Eredivisie, Bobby moved to the U.S. in 1980 to join the Philadelphia Fury of the NASL. He continued his career with the Montreal Manic, and the Chicago Sting and the Pittsburgh Spirit of the MISL. He finished his 17 years of professional soccer as a player in 1989 and became the general Manager of the Milwaukee Wave. In 1992, as a coach, he guided the Montreal Supra to the semi-finals of the Canadian Professional Soccer League. Presently, Bobby is the director of the North Stars Soccer Club, head coach of the North Allegheny High School boys varsity team. In his years as a youth coach his teams have won 7 PA West State Championships and have gone as far as runner-up in the USYSA Regional Finals and US Club Soccer National Final. Bobby holds the USSF "A" license as well as the Dutch coaching badge and has a degree in physical education. An excellent teacher and coach, he is respected and well known for his knowledge of the game and his technical skills.

Chuck Kelley - Coach

Throughout his nine years with the North Stars, Chuck has worked with all of the teams within the club. He developed a youth program for "Junior Stars" boys and girls ages 6-10. However, his primary focus is with the U-12-U-18 boys' teams. Chuck is originally from the Pittsburgh area, where he was a standout high school player. He continued on to play at Slippery Rock University where he was a steady performer while obtaining a degree in health and physical education. After college, Chuck pursued a coaching career in Vermont as the assistant coach at Norwich University. At Norwich, Chuck guided the Cadets to become Conference Champs and to receive a bid to the NCAA tournament. Throughout his career, Chuck has worked with different clubs and high schools, as well as coaching ODP in PA West and in Vermont. Currently, Chuck is the Head Coach for the boys' soccer team at Hampton High School. He holds a USSF "A" license.

Jeroen Walstra - Coach

Jeroen Walstra played in the "1e klasse," among other clubs, for "The Royal Haarlemsche Football Club" in the Netherlands as a Goal keeper. His undergraduate degree is in Physical Education from the same college as Bobby Vosmaer's. After coaching soccer in the Netherlands, he came to the United States in 1995 and coached for Canon McMillan High School, Beadling and ODP. Currently he is the head coach at Point Park College and the director of goal keeper development for Pa West. He has taught the sections for goal keeping in the D and national C-license for the USSF. Jeroen holds a A-license and also has earned his National Youth License. Several of the teams that he was involved with were successful in winning High School sections and state and regional Championships.
